Why Proper Appliance Disposal Matters
Many older appliances contain refrigerants, oils, and other materials that must be handled by certified recyclers. We work with licensed facilities to ensure your old fridge or AC unit doesn’t harm the environment. It’s the right thing to do.
Disconnection
We can help with basic disconnection for most appliances (electric). For gas appliances, we recommend having a licensed plumber disconnect before we arrive for safety reasons.

Appliance Removal — FAQ
Do I need to disconnect the appliance before you arrive?
For gas appliances (gas stoves, water heaters), we recommend a licensed plumber disconnect first for safety and code compliance. For electric appliances, give us a call to confirm what's needed before pickup.
Will you remove a refrigerator that's still full?
We'd prefer it empty if possible. Give us a heads-up when you call so we can plan accordingly.
What happens to my old appliances?
We aim to recycle or properly dispose of appliances through appropriate channels — particularly important for items containing refrigerants, oils, or other regulated materials.
Do you remove window AC units?
Yes. We can haul away window AC units, dehumidifiers, and related equipment.
